Good fit. Major coup for Milk Train, start of big things? No Hamilton show = no surprise.
Ain been in enough bands to be cool. |

No, Hamilton has never gone well for them, which is a statement that many many bands echo. Its just too risky coming here. Every time there are moans about them skipping their home town, yet every time they come here it is the smallest show of the tour. Auckland's only 60 minutes up the road.

If they played Cambridge it would prob go off more than Hamilton. That being said it would be too expensive and when I saw them at Yellow Sub I didn't really care for them too much.

I can only remember the support band playing. They mustn't have been that good (and I was too poor to afford to drink)

I remember when The Datsuns showed up in Napier before they took off overseas to get some recognition, absolutely epic gig in the tiny venue that was Orange (best lil bar ever and a sad day when it disappeared) and we packed the place out (60 people) and partied with them after, kicking myself now for not picking up one of their ep's they had for sale cause I was too poor. Was the first gig in 7 months we'd had that didn't consist of Jakob/Looma/LD3, though we were damn lucky to have them every other weekend thats for sure!

Looma... a m a aaaaa z i n g fucking band.
If you earned/won 5K and then when you went to collect it they said sorry new owners, not our problem! then the prize organiser posted pictures of Dawson crying on the interwebs to spite you... would you be ok with that? |

I remember them in the Fairfield college hall- must have been 97-98 still called Trinket then I remember them being very 'together' and they had great focus.
